However the Clipboard class on your remote machine can only access to the remote machine's clipboard. Might still use the clipboard on your local machine. When you copy a file on your local machine, you could press ctrl+v to past your file on your remote desktop machine, but in this way, you My guess for the problem you've encountered is that the Clipboard class can only access the machine's own clipboard. Just use File.Copy to copy the file into a shared folder on your local machine, and access the file from the application on the remote machine. This is the easiest way to copy and past files via remote desktop. Drive mapping/redirection, which allows the remote user to access their local drive(s) through the remote PC (thus allowing file copy/download). I recommend that you read this article: Copying Files Over Remote Desktop Clipboard redirection, which can be used to cut/paste text and files from the remote PC to the local PC and vice-versa (thus allowing file copy/download). ![]()
